Fractions for Tapawha

WALT: Learning to use repeated addition to solve part unknown questions where the numerator is 1.
Last week in week 6 and 7 we did fractions for Tapawha. one of the problems were 3/5 of 15 =? because denominator is 5 so you draw 5 squares or cirlces then you divide 15 into each box and the number will be three in each box, then the first three boxes is the answer if your numerator is 3. so my answer i got in this problem was 9.

Multiplication Pyramid

WALT: Explain or show the steps we took to solve each word problem (Ratios and Proportions).

This week we were given another activity that had to do with multiplication. for an example at the bottom of the pyramid there is a 1 and a 5 with the 1 and the 5 you multiply it together so it equals 5 then you continue multiplying the numbers until you get your final answer.
