Wellington

Wellington is located to earthquakes happens frequently. There's three fault lines which means there is a weakness in the earth crust. When wellingtons earthquakes happens the wellington buildings are safe because they are made out of wood.Every year wellington has lots of earthquakes and sometimes they have small and big earthquakes.if a house was made out of straw they could die because the straw will fall apart and if your house is made out of wood you will be safe and you won’t die.because the house wouldn’t fall apart because it is nailed so hard on the wood the house will just bend over a little bit

Cape Reinga

Cape reinga is the most northern point in new zealand it is a beautiful place to explore.Located at the top of Te ika a Maui,cape reinga is 500 km from Auckland City.From the lighthouse you can see the tasman sea and the pacific Ocean clash in a tidal race.





 At the top of the north island there is a beautiful lighthouse and at the lighthouse you can see the tasman sea and the pacific Ocean clashing together.When you go to cape reinga you will see the tasman sea and the pacific ocean clash together and explore there when it’s a lovely day so you can go and see the tasman sea and pacific ocean every day.Cape reinga is a beautiful place to go and explore sometimes when it’s windy the tasman sea and the pacific ocean goes up when they go clashing together.

I can solve division problems with numbers up to a 100 by using a reversing strategy,like 63 divided 7=9 because 9 x 7=63

Folding my Paper Airplane I was getting ready to make it fly through the air and hit my friend.Then she started to laugh then she picked my airplane up then she through my airplane back to me. then I went on the bench to fly it again all over.

When a hot air balloon goes to land they pull the red rope to open the parachute so the hot air can come out of the hot air balloon. and so cold air can come in so the people in the hot air balloon can come down from the basket can come down slowly  down in the middle of the road.

For the hot air balloon to go up fill the hot air balloon with hot air so the hot air balloon can go up In the sky. And the hot air goes up and the cold air goes down then the hot air is less dense than

The cold air ,so it rises.       

Myztiques Explanaion Angry Birds

Angry Birds is a game. that helps us learn about. physicals and Isaac newton. Potential energy is when you pull back the Rubberband. and when we release the bird it goes flying. in the air and gravity pulls it down. and Action is when you let go of the Rubberband the bird goes flying and reaction is when you hit the pigs. Angry Birds is a great game. because when you pull back the Rubberband. when you let go of the Rubberband. the birds will fly and hit the wood and then the wood will hit the pigs and the pigs will die.

Rubberband Rocket Experiment

Purpose: We were trying to make the Rocket move

Materials: We need a Rocket a Rubberband and a handal

Method: We had to put the Rubberband  onto  the  handal   and put   the   Rubberband    onto    the Rocket   and then we will pull the Rocket and hold the handal then lett the Rocket go .

Observations; For the first time we were learning how to fly Rubberband Rockets.

Conclusion; We were trying to explane how to fly a Rubberband Rocket .

We have been learning all about independent and dependent clauses in complex sentences.

This complex sentence that I have written uses a dependent and independent clause. A dependent clause, needs extra detail so that it can complete the sentence, whereas an independent sentence could actually make a sentence on its own.

Here is my sentence:

I have highlighted the dependent clause yellow and the independent clause red.

why we have hats

I want to explain why we have hats.

What is a hat? What do we use it for?

A hat is something we were on our head.

we were hats to keep the sun out of our eyes/ to protect us from the rain and to stop us

getting sunburnt.  

Why is it important that we wear hats when outdoors

there several reasons for this.

The main reason is because we need to protect our skin from getting sunburnt or even skin cancer. Another reason is Is that a hat gives us shade and keeps the sun out of our eyes.  A further reason is Is that a hat can proleet us from the rain and keep us dry.

So now you can see why we were hats.

Temperature Question

This morning the temperature was 12 degrees celsius.
By noon the temperature had increased by 7 degrees so now it is 19 degrees celsius
 By 6 p.m. the temperature had dropped 5 degrees so now it is 14 degrees celsius
By 8 .p.m. the temperature had dropped 3 more degrees so now it is 11 degrees celsius.

Mr Burt came yesterday to speak to us about the kawa of care and the importance of respecting our new chromebook. We have to look after it and when you finish with your chromebook you put it in you case. then you take it out if you need to use it then you take it out then but don’t walk around with the screen open. so it doesn’t brake . and when you put it back in your case and close the zip up and hold the case handle with two hands.
