Response of Jacinda Ardern

On the 15th of march a unexpected shooting took place in Christchurch, New Zealand. this has become one of the most biggest scenes that have happened here in new Zealand. It was such a big tragedy that even our prime minister was disgusted and shocked about it. Our prime minister visited a Muslim Mosque dressed in a black long dress like the Muslims wear, she even wore a Hijab as part of the Muslim religion, and to also show her respect on behave of New Zealand. Jacinda Ardern (our prime minister) has responded to this by banning all gun policies as one of the newest laws here in New Zealand. Her response was so intriguing that she caught everyone's attention and respect. In the news the photo that showed her hugging a young Muslim lady had went viral and is now all over the news and the cover of most news papers. from my perspectives I think that it was brilliant of her to ban the use of guns and to have police protect the other Muslims. in the morning when I walk to school I see police men and women standing out side the shops of Point England because of the Muslim mosque at the back. Every time I see the cops I think of how good it was of Jacinda Ardern to put them there as a protection for the Muslim.

Empathy

Image result for empathy
For me empathy is someone that has the ability to understand the feelings of someone else. To me personally I think that empathy means putting your self in there place and listening to that things that have to say weather its positive or negative. If I was to show empathy to friends or an individual my way of doing it would be to ask if they had a good day or if there alright. By doing that it could show those individuals that you are an understanding and caring person that has time to listen to what ever they are feeling or whatever's on there mind. Another reason why it would be great to show your empathy to a personage is because one day if your were in there shoes they would help you out and ask if you doing okay. From my perspectives I think that when everyone shows there empathy to people it makes the world a better place, and also make that person feel good without feeling uptight and worried about things.

Climate change summarie

From reading this article I have learned that in the country Kiribati it is very dangerous, and people from there have moved because their homes have been damaged caused by the water rise and also because they’ve heard good things about another country and decided to move there because it’s a Better place for them to live the rest of their lives.  People who are residents of their country have rights to move to another country after losing their homes. There are so many families that are threatened by their government to stay in the country they migrated from and not to leave immediately because of the damages that were brought to their home. Most cultures are ethnocentric , and judging from this article i think we all have different behaviours, customs, and religions.

Traditional Kiribati houses are made from wood from the trunk of coconut and pandanus trees are lashed together with string made from the fibers of coconut husks. Science experiment

Before we did this experiment our class had to sit and listen to the teacher while he explains the instructions. What we used to make this experiment is a 2 test tubes, vinegar, food colouring, baking soda, and a wooden board to go underneath. We did it on 6/03/19  in the science lab at Ep1 with Mr Malhotra and i felt like everyone in my group had a fun time experiencing and new experiment. The people in my group were, Samoa, Sabrina, Jonathan, and Walter. Here's a short video showing how the experiment turned out.
