My Kowhaiwhai Design

This years topic is Te wa toi, and we have designed and painted our own kowhaiwhai. I've called my artwork 'Ko au' - 'me', My piece of artwork represents my family. The two red korus represents my mum and dad, The blue korus at the bottom represents my oldest brother, me and my younger sister. The black ngutu-kaka also represents one of my cultures (maori). the patiki I coloured green is a bridge to keep us protected. and last one is the yellow upside down triangle, that represents my older sister watching over us.
