Kayaking Trip

One day on a sunday it was really hot. So a family of six went kayaking. There were two boys and four girls. They went to a beach named rangitoto beach for someone's 20th birthday, When they got there they looked out to the sea and saw the beautiful water. It was so beautiful you could see the sand and shells through the water.

When they got their kayaks out of their van they put it in the water and hoped in the kayak. They went all the way out to the buoy and came back, Then they decided to have a relay.. Karen explained how to play the relay. You have to get into two equal groups of three and then you have to decide how will go first out of the groups. Then you have to kayak to the buoy half way out to sea then kayak back and tap the next person so that person can go and then come back and tap the last person so that they can finish the race of.

They were burning hot, when they got out of there kayaks the sun was so hot when it was shining on their backs and faces they felt like they were burning. So they just jumped into the water and was so pleased that the water was nice and cold. So they had a swim in the beach till it was near six o’clock in the afternoon.
