Perspectives and Opinion video

Here is Perspectives and Opinion video. On my other post (Perspectives and Opinions) it will tell you why we made this short film.

Perspectives and Opinion

WALT: I will read across texts and media to form my own opinion.

For the past few weeks my group has been learning about Perspectives and Opinions. This article was about a lady that stole $400,000 from a rugby club, and we had to make a video on what our opinions were about this.

Sprint track

WALT: Agree on a solution that each member can explain.

Today we are leaning about are and perimeter. Here is our working out on slide 1.

Lady Pink

Today we will be talking about a graffiti artist, lady pink and how she uses Texture,Colour and shape in her artwork to show that women can do anything. As you can see Lady Pink uses a lot of colours to express how she feels about empowering women.  She also uses Texture to bring the colours together by using the spray paint in different artwork. Our last element shows she uses different shapes to express different kinds of faces in her artwork. Her message towards all her artwork, to men especially is that women can do anything, weather its graffitti or different kind of arts.

Strike day!

this week we've been focusing on fact and opinions based on the strike day, held on monday. Heres a short film to show our facts and our own opinions about the day.

Fact or Opinion

WALT: I will read across texts and media to form my own opinion on the current teacher strikes.

For this weeks topic we have been focusing on the strike day, which was held on Monday. For this activity we had to give facts and our own opinions on the strike day.

Maths

WALT: agree on a solution that each member can

This week we have been focusing on perimeters and area of the field. but first we had to get into a group of 4 or 3, in my group I had Bryana and Tata. our strategy was to double both 26 and 14 to get our final answer, and we did that because it is done Side plus Side plus Side.

Leaves falling off the tree
Feeling unhappy
As the wind blows by
I look up into the sky
And I think to myself
Who am I.......

Colour Code

My friends are very important to me. Each and every one of them have been a
great friend to me even when things are not good. So let me explain to you in
the next 3 paragraphs what being a good friend means.

Being a good friend values you to care for one another. That means showing
respect or aroha to show that you care for them even when something is hard.
For example when your friend is going through a rough time you should always
be there to show aroha and be kind-hearted towards them so they can feel
better and know that you will always care for her/him.

Another way of being a good friend is having trust in your friendship.
Yes, that means having trust between you and your friends whether its a boy or
girl. That shows you know that if you tell them something personal you can trust
that they won’t apprise anyone.

Encouraging your friend is another way of being a good friend. Meaning you are
always there to encourage them in doing something they’ve never tried before
or when they are in a game. E.g if you are at their rugby game you will be on the
sideline encouraging him/her to either do a big tackle , score a try or get the kick
over the goal post.

And there you go, 3 ways of being a good friend. I know that my friends care
and trust me. They also encourage me, especially to try something new. Even
if it was me trying to play a sport like football and I fail the first couple of times
there still there to help me out and encourage me to keep going. I hope you are
one of those people.

Colour Code:
Yellow - Key: Statement
